Quinta de Bispos is delighted to announce that it is the first "Hotel Rural" and the third company in the tourism sector in Portugal to obtain the European Eco-Label.
Since Quinta de Bispos has obtained the European Eco-Label, the guests can be sure of the attention and respect given to the environment. A big part of the Quinta's electricity is produced by photovoltaic solar energy, the water and power usage is efficiently monitored, the Quinta uses less damaging chemical products, and only when those products are necessary, the waste produced is reduced to a minimum and adequately managed, and there are many more ecological measures taken. All the personnel has been briefed on ecologically correct procedures. The goal of the European Eco-Label is to help the european consumers choose high-quality ecological and environment-friendly products.
